“It was neat staying at an old hotel. Knowing the history was helpful. Staff were great and hotel is in pretty good shape. However, there was some construction above our room at 7:30am. We were awake but most would not be.”

“The castle was awesome! Karen was very pleasant and "not a Karen". She reached out hours before we arrived to give us instructions, then met us at the castle. The pictures that she posted don't do the castle justice and the story behind it is amazing. I would honestly give the castle better reviews than the best hotel you can find. Karen will tell you about the castle history and offer you to watch the documentary behind it. I recommend watching it! It truly explains why there is so much love……

“My room flooded the first night (the inner bathroom, and outer bathroom, all tile areas had water, some deeper than my foot). It made trips to the bathroom at night *cold* :( That next morning they did give me a different room w/ similar setup w/o issue and said "oh we'll make this right". The next morning, at checkout (I turned my keys in), I asked whether they had comp'd the first night, I was told they didn't know how to do that because I'd booked through Expedia.
