They did not have my room available and front desk staff should not be working in customer service. The water in the shower would not get hot and parking, which they charge extra for, was slim. Had to park in the cheap seats. Went to the front desk to check in and the gentle told me my room was not available and preceded to tell me it would be an extra $60. No explanation, just waited for my card. I immediately assumed it was for the room change. It wasn’t, but, that could have been easily explained w a little more effort. On a more positive note, the bed was extremely comfortable and the restaurant staff and breakfast were good. All in all, not terrible but expected more from Doubletree. Nice building but motel service.
