We had a very pleasant time at the hotel. The environment was very beautiful and clean. The golf carts made traveling convenient. The children had a great time in the swimming pool. There was also a beach and slides. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Great place

The views are amazing, it almost feels like you're on the Mediterranean coast or something. Plan on getting a taxi when you arrive, the walk is doable, but you have walk up a pretty steep hill...don't waste time walking, the taxi ride was only 4.00 per person and very quick. Once you're there the golf cart makes it really easy to get around town. The place is really comfortable; decorated nicely and makes you feel at home. I would definitely stay here again!

Hamilton Cove is the BEST

quick trip to Catalina, my wife and I; got great deal at Hamilton Cove; view not a good as last time, but still very nice. Want to get one next time a bit lower, and nothing blocking our view. Loved the Bison Tour, and the ZIP LINE

Great family vacation

This is our second time staying at this unit and it did not disappoint. Appreciate the ease of access and the golf cart available to use. Only a few minor repairs are needed to the unit and some of the towels/linens should be replaced due to stains. However, this in no way would deter me and my family from staying here again.

Catalina getaway

We made a long weekend out of our visit to Catalina Island and had a great time. The unit had beautiful views of the sunrise each morning and had a nice pool to relax around in the afternoons. The golf cart was a nice addition and worked great throughout our stay. The unit could use a few more kitchen utensils and pots/pans but we made do. Also, the main fridge was not working very well and it would have been nice to know this in advance but unfortunately nobody said anything about it until I questioned it the the second day.

Hamilton Cove

Great location. Be willing and able to do lots of stairs as it is on a hillside. Golf cart was a great addition. Property seemed to have been hurriedly cleaned and the fridge didn’t work. We were given a mini fridge instead which wasn’t great for groceries for our family of four. Overall we loved the location but unit could use updating and a deep cleaning.

Perfect for a getaway!

Had a fantastic experience! Photos truly represent the actual space. The included golf cart really made the decision that much easier. We were able to explore the island fully because of it. Accessing was very easy and when we needed some help with lock they were very responsive and stayed on the phone with us until the issue was resolved (user error). Great view of the ocean and the sound of the surf lulled us to sleep. It doesn’t state in the listing, but there is a washer/dryer right outside of the unit. I highly recommend and would definitely rent the SAME unit.

Lovely

We enjoyed our stay! The stairs are not really that bad and you are really close to the pool. Could not get a hold of the host by message, so make sure you get any questions answered before. Towels and beach towels are provided. Utensils and seems like they added plenty of wine glasses now. Would recommend

Great property manager/servicd

We have always enjoyed staying at Hailton cove, thank you for making our stay comfortable for our family. We want to mention the golf cart has some loose wires. We were stranded for a couple of hours in town with Chela, waiting for the mechanic, luckily my husband was able to figure it out but we still lost 2-hrs of adventure time so we wanted you to know.

Seriously a great view

Definitely a great view! Your able to ride around town with the cart that comes with it. No Netflix, no good channels to do a movie night in December. Needs a deep clean. We found a mask under the bed and spider cobs around the home. Love how they have extra blankets everywhere. Will still come back :)

80th Birthday on Catalina

I took my parents to Catalina for my father's 80th birthday. I decided to stay in Hamilton Cove because of the amenities; golf cart, 18 hole putting course, private cove. We had a great trip despite getting off to a rough start. I was filling out paperwork the day of our trip as I had not received it prior. I knew that the condos in Hamilton Cove had stairs but over 50 steps to get to our unit was a little much. We couldn't get into the unit because they use some weird lock there where you have to turn it one way then the other and hold it. There isn't cell reception in the cove so had to head up the hill to call and get the trick for the lock. The gate guard didn't have our information, so we had to wait until we were able to get ahold of our agent and get that all straightened out. But after all that was done, we really had a magical time. Catalina is a special place and Hamilton Cove is a very beautiful and quiet place to stay.

Wonderful location!

Things we liked: Golf cart access, location on island, proximity to the pool/spa, views!!!, ease of check in, being able to take the golf cart at 1pm, views!!!, bbq, amenities in the common areas.Things to improve: More utensils, bowls, plates and glasses. Seemed like they were a mismash of random things. Fridge was broken but not communicated to us (there was a small fridge plugged in blocked walkway to kitchen). Only one key provided (clarified this with the management- they started to only provide one key because the other one kept accidentally being taken by people) The 2 middle seat Golf cart seatbelts were broken- no seatbelts in back row (sounded like management was not aware, offered to fix them during our stay but when we told them we were back and ready for repair, we heard nothing else from management for rest of trip despite multiple further inquiries).TV has just basic cable, no netflix capabilities. We were fine with the stairs but i heard alot of reviews talking about how they would of liked to have been warned that there were no elevators. No welcome book explaining procedures or giving advice for the island (only time ive rented a place on vrbo/air b n b that didn’t have one). No beach supplies, kids games, books/magazines what so ever- again- every place we’ve stayed at in the past has provided these. Overall tho, a GORGEOUS place to stay!

The property in general is absolutely stunning with ocean views etc. The condo itself was okay however it felt like there was some deferred maintenance that was needed. Hamilton Cove is breathtaking.
