「Made a reservation and paid in advance. When we got there they refused to give us a room because we had a local address. We were forced to go to another hotel late at night to find another room. Absolutely unacceptable. And we chose this local, non-chain hotel on purpose. We then went to a large chain hotel and they welcomed us “locals.”」

「This is a great place to stay. The management is so helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and I only had to pay $20 a night extra to keep my dog. I would definitely recommend this place.」

「We really enjoyed our stay at Cozy Bear Inn. Check-in was a breeze, our stay was not expensive and the best part was it is pet friendly so we were able to take our fur babies with us. The room smelled clean when we walked in and nobody bothered us the entire time we were there! We definitely recommend staying here to anyone who plans to visit Maggie Valley. We plan to stay there any time we travel to the area.」

「We stayed one night at Two Rivers Lodge while exploring the Smokies, and it was very nice. Our room was clean and comfortable. It's a simple, no-frills place, which is exactly what we like. The highlight was the covered seating area right by the river, a great spot to relax at the end of the day. It was too warm for a fire while we were there, but I can picture it being perfect on a cool night. We'd happily stay again.」

「We checked in late and was suppose to meet friends at 7:30 the next morning. We got up to shower and there was not 1 towel or washcloth anywhere in the room. The office did not open until 10:00 so no shower that morning! The staff was extremely rude. We had rented for 1 night. We checked in around 8:00 that afternoon.
