“The grounds and convenience of this hotel are great. They have a shuttle every hour to take you into town. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Alliot and Anthony at the front desk were so helpful and welcoming. The only thing is some of the rooms are a bit dated. Scuffed up walls, old black out curtains. The bathroom is also very small.”

“We had minor issues with AC being always on, and the thermostats not kicking in. There was also a clog in the AC unit and cause leaking from the ceiling. The road to the resort needs work. There is a 10 minute stretch that’s really nerve wracking if you are coming in for the first time when it’s dark, and you worry about the damage to the vehicle. Other than that, it’s a great place and does deserve all the 5-stars. ”

“I had the perfect stay at Surfo house in tamarindo! I was very comfortable I even extended my stay. The areas are clean, the kitchen has everything you need, the store is conveniently located just downstairs, the beach is just 3 minutes walking distance, close to all restaurants, shops, even the bus station is right there.
