"The meal options were very good. I am a picky eater and I appreciated the variety. The food was also fresh and tasted pretty good. The staff was amazing and I appreciated that the most. There were some hiccups with our check-in and room accommodations, however I appreciated that the staff rectified it for us. We had no other issues throughout the duration of our stay. The customer service was awesome and that is a quality that hotels and resorts are hit or miss with now days. The resort location is also centralized from all of the activities that we planned. I will even take it a step further and share that I went to one the infamous fancy restaurants there that has a great scenic view and the bulk was over $120 per person but I left the restaurant wishing that I had the resorts dinner instead. So overrated. I would definitely come back to Sugar Bay Resort! "

"This is a horrible place. the reviews have to made by friends and family. no windows, dirty, run down its like a shed. people played loud music all night, my husband stayed one night, and I immediately booked him in a different hotel. No way this has a 4.9 rating. My husband is covered in mosquito bites from head to toe and it was stifling hot in there!"

"I booked a two-night stay at Bayleaf Lodge for my dad while he was in Barbados to renew his visa, and the experience exceeded all expectations. The host was truly exceptional. She went above and beyond to ensure my dad was comfortable and well taken care of, especially considering his medical condition. On occasions when she was unavailable, she thoughtfully arranged for a relative to check in on him, which gave me great peace of mind. When my dad’s flight was delayed, she kindly accommodated a late checkout so he wouldn’t have to spend unnecessary hours at the airport. That level of consideration meant a lot. My dad shared that he felt completely at home during his stay. He described the apartment as cozy, comfortable, and welcoming. In his words, both the host and the accommodation were “1000/100.” I highly recommend Bayleaf Lodge to anyone looking for a place that offers not just comfort, but genuine care and hospitality. Also, it's just a couple minutes away from the Embassy. "
