"We loved this hotel! I definitely will be staying here again on my next trip to Switzerland. We rented an EV car and you’re able to charge it during your stay. Even though it was a bit further from the hiking activities we did, having the car and driving to them worked out perfectly for us. The staff was friendly, attentive and willing to share any tips and tricks to help us during our visit. House keeping came in and everyday. "Absolutely loved this hotel and area. The staff were so kind and helpful and even made it possible for us to check in after the lobby closed due to the trains in taking longer than expected. It is a one minute walk from the main gondola to the mountain activities . Beautiful views from the balconies and friendly staff who will make you feel welcome ."

"Truly wonderful hotel! So many good things about it: 1) very nice room with clean and modern bathroom, 2) elevator to the floors; 3) great restaurant with fine cuisine. Not expensive and you get 10% off as a guest; 4) very close to the central station - no need to drag your suitcase; 5) great breakfast with mountain veiw, and 7) absolutely wonderful nicest staff ever! Such a pleasant stay! Thank you!!!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. It was conveniently located to the train station and main road but was quiet. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The free breakfast was delicious and included a nice variety of hot and cold items and plenty of fruit. Barry’s restaurant and nearby affiliated Basecamp were great dinner spots. Appreciated the gym facilities which are not often found in small hotels. Though less glamorous, the laundry facilities were convenient and allowed us to only pack a carryon for our ten day trip. The rooms were a little warm during the day since, like most hotels in Grindelwald, there was no AC but the fan and ability to open the balcony door made it comfortable at night. Would definitely stay here again."

"Very clean room Very friendly staff Buffet was amazing great assortment and coffee was really good The front desk staff was superb we of course forgot the outlet for Switzerland and they offered us one My wife was pregnant and some day naps were too hot for her so we asked for a fan and not even a minute later they delivered Definitely 5/5 stars nothing was bad about this place Literally the first hotel right as soon as you get off the station on the left side"

"We had an excellent stay at this Hotel Spinne in Grindelwald and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The property is well-maintained, conveniently located, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, even picking us up from the train station with our luggage. The breakfast was excellent, and the breathtaking balcony view of the Eiger was a highlight of our stay. Overall, we were very happy with our experience and highly recommend this hotel."
