"Lovely location, very close to the 8 and 1 train lines and a decent amount of bus stops just to the left of the main entrance. Theres two 7/11's a two minute walk away in either direction aswell as the main wangfujing shopping street. The hotel rooms themselves are large and comfortable though slightly outdated (though it wasn't an issue) - the bathroom tub and shower showed their age the most but the water pressure was good. One thing to note is if you have two king rooms (I was travelling with my mother) you won't be able to have a connecting room, you'll be a room apart as they only do a connecting with a king and two singles."

"Best location. Big hotel but a bit old bathrooms and rooms. We liked a lot anyway and booked also to enjoy pool and gym but it was renovating. Restaurant was really good here."

"Room was clean and reasonably spacious with good storage space. Unlimited supply of bottled water. Free use of laundry facilities. Subway less than 2 mins walk away on Line 5. Close to forbidden city. Many places to eat. Overall a very good experience "

"We visited the hotel during a busy period and getting in required going through security. It was a fairly quick process however. We also had an issue with housekeeping not doing a great job making up our room. The bed would be lumpy and on one occasion it was made over a bathrobe instead of moving the bathrobe to make the bed. I told Tom the front desk staff and they were great. They really tried to rectify the situation and make sure we were happy/comfortable even though it really wasn’t their fault."
