"We stayed 10 nights as a couple and had a great overall experience. The resort had recently reopened under Iberostar, and while still working through some growing pains, it shows strong potential. Our rooms were clean and comfortable with good housekeeping, though we did have to switch rooms due to an AC issue. Food was outstanding—the best we’ve had at an all‑inclusive—with great variety, strong gluten‑free effort, and multiple dining options, though labeling and consistency could improve. Staff were friendly and attentive, with special thanks to Marlen, Alex, Irving, and Javier. Entertainment included nightly shows and solid fitness programming, though the show rotation is short for longer stays. The beach is heavily eroded but well maintained; pool cabanas cost extra and pools are unheated. Excursions booked onsite were reliable and enjoyable, especially the catamaran and Isla Mujeres trip. The spa was relaxing but overpriced for the value. Other notes: road access includes an 800 m rough stretch, club membership sales are persistent, the gym is decent but limited, and some maintenance was ongoing but not disruptive. Overall, excellent food, welcoming staff, and fun programming make this a strong resort with room to improve as it continues to settle under new ownership."

"The hotel staff was super friendly and welcoming from start to finish. Our room was very clean, and the food was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. A special shout-out to Armando from the LandShark — he was absolutely amazing! His customer service was top-tier, and he was always the life of the party. He really made our experience even better. The only downside was the beach. Due to the recent hurricane, the water was brown and access was limited. However, that didn’t stop me and my girlfriend from having an amazing time. Overall, we had a blast and I would definitely book again based on our experience."

"Beautiful resort. Very clean and frienly staff. Shout out to Chez at the pool. She never stopped running and always with a smile. Love the popsicles and fruit by the pool and the pool service. So many hard working people making our stay wverything we wanted. Adrianna was an exceptional server as was all bartenders at the swim up bar. "

"The food never disappoints at Dreams. This is our 6th Dreams we’ve been to and they have really shifted to cater to families with small children. I wouldn’t select this resort if you aren’t traveling with children, as there are no areas that are adults only. We had the preferred club and stayed in a king room with a plunge pool. The preferred benefits here only get you access to the preferred club and a small section of beach chairs. You do need to get up early to reserve chairs, as they get completely taken up by 9am across the whole resort. The service was wonderful and the rooms were very clean every day with fully stocked mini fridge. We did come to golf, which appeared to have included greens fees online, but that was not the case. We enjoyed our stay, but next time we’ll be booking at their adults only brand, Secrets. "
