Alpen Lodge did not disappoint

Luxury Getaway

Each year, my friends and I get together with our spouses and children for an annual snow weekend. We’ve been to many locations/homes, and we all agreed that this year was our best yet! Jon was a great host, communicating from the beginning of our trip until the end. Due to unexpected snow, the roads leading to our original home were snowed in, but Jon immediately rectified the situation, placing us in a different property, which was really an upgrade from what we originally booked! Amenities were great, home was magazine-perfect, and the location was convenient. We will definitely be booking with Jon again

Our best house yet!

This trip was our 8th year of continuing a very special tradition with two of our very close friend families. We do it every NYE and look forward to it all year. We all agreed that this particular house was the best and we're hoping we can book it again in two years. We alternate between the desert and mountains every year. The house was huge, lots of rooms with king size beds, open concept main living area and a fun area on the bottom floor for the kiddos. The process of booking this property was easy, check was seamless and the signage they have posted around the house to help with lights, wifi, kitchen details was a perfect touch. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Multi-generational Get-away home

Beautiful Mountain Escape

Resting Place with a fantastic view

Very well maintained property! The view we felt was even better than the photos. E bikes were perfect means to browse around the lake. And sitting by the fire under the stars really did it for us!

Overall experience was great! Everything that we needed was supplied and more. Had very clear instructions and rules which made it easier to navigate the house. And the view of the lake was just BEAUTIFUL. Thanks Jon for a great stay!

Great location. Great property

We loved this property it is brand new and very nicely decorated. The amenities were great. It was very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. And the view! Breathtaking. You can see the lake from every floor and patio. The management was very responsive and accommodating. The car charger was an added plus!

I’ve stayed at VRBOs around the world and this property is top notch. Actually, it’s nicer than the listing. Everything is high class. The e-bikes were a pleasant surprise. Most importantly was the high level of cleanliness.

What a View!

We througly enjoyed our stay. The view is fantastic! Perfect place for our family to spend time together. The most responsive host I have ever dealt with ... The fire pit was not working correctly and they had a new one installed by the next day! Amazing!

Wonderful Get-Away

Everything is new and modern. Loved all the nice touches in the house. The kitchen had everything you need.and the views from the balconies where just beautiful!! Just be aware that there are two stairways going down to the bedrooms from the main floor. This might be a problem for some people.

Turnkey property. Just like the photos. Brand new property. View is spectacular. We wanted something comfortable and clean like our home and this ticks those boxes. Plenty of amenities. Balcony setup is great day and night. Plenty of room for the kids/family to hang out at night. Will be coming back for sure.

EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS

Absolutely the best house I have ever stayed at. I celebrated my birthday here with my friends and every single one of us was amazed by how beautiful and clean the house was. The house had absolutely everything you could need, including hair straighteners and curlers that my girlfriends pointed out. I would absolutely come back to this house before looking for another one.

Lake Luxury!

What a gem! We absolutely LOVED our stay at this beautiful, modern lake house. It's brand-new and very fresh. The view is to die-for, and the lake breeze blows in through every window. The beds/ baths were top-notch, the kitchen had everything one could want, and best of all, Jon was there immediately to answer the few questions that did come up (mostly tech-related). Couldn't recommend more strongly.

Great Stay

Overall we had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful and the views are stunning. But please be aware that there are steep stairs. We had very small children and a pregnant woman in our group so it wasn’t the most convenient so if there are elderly people it may not be the best choice. The bonus room and second master bedroom are 2 flights of steep stairs down. But a great house with everything you need. The electric bikes were a great bonus.

Family Getaway

The Alpen Lodge is beautiful and spacious with the view of the lake better than pictured. We were pleasantly surprised with all of the kitchen supplies and extras that included many pantry basics. The home was very comfortable for our family of eight with room to spare. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels and bathroom supplies. We enjoyed the outside decks and loved sitting around the fire pit in the evening. The only negative is the outside furniture on the main deck needs to be replaced. We would most definitely return for another family getaway in the future. Thank you Jon.

Amazing Family Christmas

Thank you a wonderful time. We had a great family Christmas and it was soooo cool to walk into a fully-decorated Christmas tree! Very classy touch. The view is awesome. We spent so much time out on the deck by the fire pit. The description says “gourmet” kitchen and that is accurate. Wonderfully appointed. Just show up with your food and drink. Plenty of space! We could have had 4 more people and still had ample room. Would highly recommend.

Great stay!

The house is great, easily holds 6-10 people and even more if there are younger kids. The wifi worked great and we had 5-6 people on it all day for school and work. Views magnificent! The house is a 7-10 min drive to the small village of Blue Jay where there is a nice market, few restaurants and shops and another 5 min to the Village of Arrowhead. The roads wind around a lot and can be fairly steep if you’re out walking. A strange thing about Lake Arrowhead is that the lake is private and there aren’t a lot (any) of trails you are allowed to walk on that border the lake. That was frustrating but plenty of streets to walk with lake views. If we come back to Arrowhead we would definitely stay at this house again. It was really nice and accommodating.

80th Birthday CELEBRATION!!

We had an amazing time in this beautiful, spacious and well appointed home! Spent time on the 3 decks enjoying family time with food & cocktails. There are awesome views of the lake & neighboring mountains. Top deck was our fave with barbecue, fire pit for 5 and picnic table for dining. Kitchen was spacious with bar seating to entertain the cooks. A great family dining space with large table to seat the entire family. Living quarters comfortable with fireplace & large TV for March Madness fun. Bedrooms spacious with comfortable king beds with luxury bedding. Bathrooms stocked with towels, toiletries, blow dryers, curling irons, Q-tips, cotton pads, soap, shampoo & conditioners. Kitchen also well stocked and conducive to cooking family meals. Coffee, spices, storage bags, etc. A great house which is clearly run by an impressive rental group, who thought of everything. We can’t wait to go back and will definitely seek this property again.
