Very helpful and friendly staff. The hotel offers a good breakfast too. There is no charge to park at the hotel which is an advantage. The bedrooms and corridors are dated but having said that we had a very comfortable stay.

A lovely setting, only stopped one night, booked it for visiting British masters at the Belfry, ideal and lovely clean room , can't speak about food , we didn't eat , but plenty in the dining room were Top marks 👌

The hotel was okay for my one-night stop. The room was spacious, clean and tidy. My reason for leaving an ‘okay’ review is that in many areas the room and building generally need an overhaul. The bathroom in particular would benefit from attention, with items such as missing sealant and evidence of some mould in the shower. I must say the staff were fantastic though, very helpful and attentive. The setting next to the canal is nice.

Could hear other guests and their TVs almost all night - bed was springy but firm. Staff very lovely, just please tell guests the WiFi passcode and to enter their car registration on arrival as I nearly forgot until I saw it by chance. Staff brilliant food excellent actually, right on the canal

We live this place, have been there lots but Patios and outside areas could have been a bit cleaner. Rooms are not very soundproof. We were on the ground floor this time and had people walking above us all night. On the plus side, Staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is delicious and reasonably priced.

All was very good, but did feel that our room was in need of a little TLC, unpainted skirting board, minor marks on walls which a touch up with paint would improve.

Not bad for an overnight stay. The staff were great. Classic pub food. The room was cold, and the heating off, there was no hairdryer and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable. But if you are looking for somewhere cheap to crash out overnight, with an affordable dining option, it is good for one night (and a short drive from the NEC)

The hotel room would definitely benefit from some tlc . New pillow as ones there are rock hard . Room smelt a bit funky as if windows had not been opened . Staff were clearly stretched due to an event in the hotel so check in took over 20 mins . Late night staffing was excellent. Good facilities for parking but charge should be clearer when booking . Reasonable price for parking .
