From the first day, we reported that the heated pool was not working, the hot tub was only half full and completely cold, and the keypad entry system was malfunctioning. “This accommodation was not clearly identified as a short-term type private rental, which created uncertainty upon arrival. Arriving at 11 p.m., I was uneasy walking into a fenced yard with no onsite staff or reception. In the darkness, I wasn’t sure I was at the right property. Initially, I left, contemplating staying in my car, but ultimately decided that was neither safe nor reasonable. Returning through an unsecured gate into the backyard, I managed to enter the unit, which lacked an interior……
