“The hotel actually has two sections on two sides of the bridge. We were expecting to be on the water side but was disappointed. The room only has a small window facing the back of the hotel. Nothing impressive at all. The staffs were not helpful on anything. We were asked by the front desk to go across the bridge to make booking at the hotel restaurant. ”

“Friendly hosts who are very welcoming into their home. Service was very good with a wide range of choice for breakfast. The little touches are most appreciated - such as a mini fridge in the room for fresh milk to make a tea or coffee. Very quaint and welcoming place. Will certainly stay again.”

“Very honest, pleasant and helpful staff. By mistake I left a backpack with very important personal belongings in the hotel canteen and left. A staff discovered and handed to reception to keep it safely. I drove away from hotel and realized the missing of backpack till 2 hours later. Heartfelt thanks !!!”

“Amazing staff. Excellent breakfast (thank you for providing that for us, we appreciated it!). Loved the room and the comfort. Despite the heat (30C, which isn't common in Yorkshire), we both loved the stay and the welcoming staff. Will definitely return if we're passing through again! ”
