On arrival the staff were very pleasant and welcoming, the room was spotless and better than advertised the minimal shop downstairs was more than adequate the only criticism is the parking situation but you are made aware well in advance overall a fantastic stay and would recommend.

Room was good, we had three adults in a room in a king bed and a sofa bed. Sofa bed was made up and there was plenty of room. Kitchen had a fridge, microwave and hob and enough utensils for three. Liked the endless coffee in the reception and the simple croissant bfast.

The staff were excellent on check in, the room could have done with a small table rather than the large poofy. We had problems with the heating during our stay. On arrival we were told that due to the river flooding we could not park at the hotel I believe this should have been passed on prior to our arrival instead of on arrival.

The hotel was lovely and really comfortable. Some of the cutlery and plates in the room were still dirty when I checked in. The bed is so comfortable and hotel very quiet. Just outside down the side is very dark and could do with better lighting. Staff were welcoming

Good central spot to stay within easy walking distance to shopping area, the Shambles, the City Wall, Clifford Tower and York Minster. Nice pastries for breakfast. Parking available at the hotel and having a kitchen and free laundry facilities was a welcome addition.

Had a lovely view of the river from the balcony. The room was spotless and smelt lovely on arrival. The hotel staff were very friendly giving advice on booking restaurants because it was a race weekend and very busy.

The room was great and it was very clean, and the veiw was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the coffee was lovely. The only issue was you could clearly hear the people walking about upstairs.

Room was a great layout with bed upstairs. Plenty of space and everything you need for a great stay. There were some signs of needing a bit of a spruce up (chipped damaged paint, marks here and there) and some of it felt a bit cheap. Awful view from the balcony so wish we'd paid for the view of the river! Staff were lovely and attentive. Location is great if you want to be close enough to everything but still have that quiet, peaceful atmosphere.

The apartment rooms had everything you may need. If you needed breakfast foods or snacks they were available in the reception area, some were complimentary (Croissants in the morning), other items were priced fairly. The staff were very accommodating. Secure covered parking is available at extra cost, that was good for us.
