「The cottage is on the main road in town so street noise and noise from the DQ next door are constant. This also means window shades had to be closed for any privacy. Microwave was very dirty, did not appear to have been cleaned in a while. No real utensils or supplies in kitchenette. Otherwise cleanliness was good. Communication with host was thorough. 「Walking into this cabin felt like stepping into and IG picture, even the decor in the outhouse. My only regret is that we didn’t book a longer stay so we could’ve used the sauna. We did so much exploring of grand Marais and other areas all the way up to the waterfall at grand portage we were exhausted by the time we got back. The sheets felt amazing and we slept so well!」
