Located in West Bradenton, this secluded neighborhood features family homes on quiet residential streets plus super easy access to shopping and dining. Take a short stroll to Palma Sola Bay for serene views, picnicking, kayaking and a boat launch. Find the best seafood in the quaint local restaurants in the Cortez Commercial Fishing Village, several great boutiques, and Tyler's Homemade Ice Cream just around the Corner. Cross the Cortez bridge and you are on beautiful Anna Maria Island featuring 7 miles of sugar sand beaches.

This one bedroom unit is roomy and well-furnished. The open floor plan utilizes the space well and has everything you need to make your getaway special. You will want to brag to your friends about this perfect haven and everyone will want to make Banyan a regular part of future vacations.

You probably won't want to leave this relaxing home away from home, but if you decide to do some exploring, feel free to walk the neighborhood and enjoy lovely views of the water and the Marina at the end of the street. Or, for more adventure, Palma Sola Bay Kayak Rentals is just 2 blocks away! The historic Cortez fishing village is very close and if you cross the Cortez bridge onto Anna Maria Island, you can get to the sparkling Gulf waters within minutes. Once you're on the Island, take Anna Maria's free trolley for great shopping and dining options.

While we know you love your furry friends, this property is not pet friendly. Please make other arrangements for your pets.

Doug and Candy were the perfect hosts. The unit was fully stocked--there was nothing that we needed. The bed was super comfortable, and came with extra pillows which you don't find in a lot of rentals. Plenty of towels including beach towels. The outdoor space was very nice for enjoying your favorite beverage especially in the morning and early evening. The location was perfect--very close to the beaches of Anna Maria Island and LECOM Park for spring training. We highly recommend renting this unit.

We can’t say enough about how pleased we were with our place. The location is close to the bridge to get to the beach, yet quiet and peaceful. Breezes and light flow through the windows. The birds entertained us as we enjoyed the deck. Our hosts were extremely nice and accommodating. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. Our bed was very comfortable. No problems whatsoever. We can’t wait to return!

The neighborhood was so quiet and close to all the great beaches. The home was decorated beautifully and was very comfortable and clean. I dropped a few pieces of clean clothing whiledoing laundry the night before our flight, and the owners took the time to leave them on our porch very early the morning of our departure! Perfect property with great owners, we will definitely stay again!

Excellent location to be close to downtown and the beaches. Clean apartment, quite area, generous towel and toilet paper supply. However, I rate 4 stars because the AC could not be turned below 74 degrees (or the unit would freeze up per the instructions).

This property is a little off the beaten path but it's very clean and totally worth the money to be such a short trip to the beaches. if you can't handle stairs, this isn't for you. It is a very cute, eclectic, easy place to stay. you'll feel at home as soon as you walk in.

The price is right as long as you’re willing to drive to do everything. The view out back is not good but this unit provided us with what we were looking for, a place to sleep, shower, make breakfast then hit the road each day.

Nice Convenient Place in Cortez.

Clean and quiet property

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at this location. We found everything we needed and appreciated having access to laundry facilities. It was a nice, quiet neighborhood with a little park just a few blocks away. The only downside of the location was the long line of traffic getting to the beach each day, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the lovely area and we would be happy to rent this place again if we were in the area.
