"1st room was very small and air fan noisy. They switched our room to more quite better played out room. We had dinner and breakfast at hotel for a 3 day stay. Dinner was okay if you like hamburgers. The whole place has a wierd layout."

"We stayed at the Adagio for a couple of night on a long weekend break in Edinburgh. It is perfectly located to visit the city as it's right on the Royal Mile. Thee staff are lovely and the bed was so comfortable. We will definitely be back!"

"We asked to be transferred to an accessible room because there was not a walk-in shower and the bathtub was quite high. The hotel agreed to move us. However, to get to the accessible room we had to go down one set of steps and up two more sets of steps. The room was cold and we asked for maintenance to check the temperature. A young lady came to the room and didn’t do anything different than what we did. She went and brought back a portable heater that didn’t help very much. The hotel was a disappointment and I would not recommend."

"My daughter and I spent 2 nights at the Scotsman. It is a lovely hotel very close to the Royal Mile and just over the bridge from the train station. A great location. The hotel is beautiful and iconic. The carpets in the hallway seemed a bit worn, but our room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was helpful, and the hotel had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Great breakfast and location. Prosecco on arrival was a great touch. Staff were friendly and helpful. Made a request at reception which wasn’t followed through and also the lifts weren’t working properly for our whole stay, which caused an inconvenience. Other than that a lovely stay."

"The hotel was false advertised. In pictures it seemed large with ample space in rooms and bathroom, but in reality the spaces were small and the sinks were tiny. We learned from this experience not to trust the pictures in the hotel booking. If you can get this room for under 100, then ok, but dont waste your money otherwise."
