“Lovely little place in a peaceful area, the cricket pavilion has everything you could need for a short break - plus some thoughtful and welcome extras from the owner. Excellent Pub literally 5 mins walk away through the horse paddocks- their pies are delicious! Would definitely recommend the property and may well be back ourselves! Thank you :) ”

“An idyllic, clean and peaceful space to take a step back from the noise and just breathe. Met the host who lives beside the cabin, a very friendly lady who ensure you are settled. The cabin has everything you need including cooking appliances except oven which the microwave has the features for it.”

“Cute cabin fantastic views and amazing sunrises with dear walking across the fields in the distance.Bottle of wine a great touch for those that drink white wine!No shower gel etc provided as documented!Mattress on main bed lumpy and probably needs updating, bed creaked at every turn, couldn’t use the double sofa bed in the lounge as it was broken! Tea and coffee supplies very scarce, 3 teabags for 2 people for 2 nights and very little coffee, no milk! Just as well the nearest supermarket was……

“Lovely, clean lodge, plenty of space and comfortable. Very peaceful. Kitchen is well equipped but one thing we missed was an oven dish. If you’re planning on fishing from the garden… it’s not worth it. Very few fish and all small, other families from neighbouring lodges also commented on this. Food at the White Heron pub at the entrance to the marina was nice and the staff were lovely. Had takeaways from the Bay Leaf Indian and New World Chinese, both were very good. Would book again but……

“Although it was a nice get away we didn’t expect to be so close to the owners home. We could hear them in the garden in the morning and felt it wasn’t as private as we had hoped. The hot tub is a nice idea but it took a good few hours to get up to temperature. We was under the impression fire starters/fire wood for the hot tub was included in the price having paid extra for the use of it but later found a note asking to leave money is an honesty box.
