Great place for a family celebration

We had a lovely stay at Foxholme Manor. The house and gardens provided a great location for a family event with lots of opportunities for activities inside and outside The house has been beautifully renovated which makes it a very special place to stay. The house keeper was very responsive and we had everything we needed for a perfect stay

we stayed at Foxholme with our family ranging from 1 to 70! everyone had a great time the property is perfect for such a gathering. comfortable , clean throughout and plenty of atmosphere nicely located as well and we enjoyed the gardens and the tennis court!

Beautiful house and grounds

We spent a long weekend at Foxholme manor and had the best time. The house is stunning and a great size for the party of 12. We did spend most of our time around the pool and using the pool house however the whole house and grounds were beautiful.

Siblings Stay

we were a party of 12 made up of siblings and partners celebrating a big birthday and stayed at Foxholme for 3 nights during the autumn half term. Our stay was made all the better given the house, its setting and the lovely little touches that Bolthole had gone to in order to welcome us. The beds were comfy and more importantly the bed linen was very nice (apart from no matress topper on the bed my wife and I had, but not for anyone else I hasten to add, so clearly an oversight I feel) The kitchen is great and the centre of any house and the lounges are certainly plentiful, but somewhat pointless upstairs where additional bathrooms would have made a very enjoyable stay even more enjoyable. Regardless, thank you very much on behalf of all of us for a most enjoyable short stay.

Fabulous house for a big family group

Foxholme Manor is located in one of the most beautiful parts of the Cotswolds close to some of the area's most picturesque places. The grounds with tennis court, swimming pool, orchard etc are extensive and the walks to nearby pubs and villages are stunning and offer wonderful views of the countryside. The house itself is huge and perfect for a multi-generational family like us. There are lots of different sitting areas so it's easy to spread out. Though the kitchen is very well equipped, it is relatively small for the size of the property and doesn't have much food preparation space. I would recommend having meals prepared by someone else as we did.

Not the estate it’s pictured to be

I have stayed at numerous vacation homes all over the world including in this exact area and I have to say I’ve never stayed anywhere like this before. The house was dirty and dilapidated and it was depressing every time we had to open the door to come “home”. I had no hot water in my bathroom, there were mouse traps everywhere, a beetle infestation in the kitchen, carpet beetles in the threadbare carpets, visibly dirty aga (inside and out), dirty washing machine and tumble dryer we had to clean them out ourselves, the outside table is rusty with not enough chairs for the number of guests, parasol not functioning properly, the pool house door doesn’t shut, rusty bathrooms floors from the heated towel rack constantly dripping and on and on it goes. I am still shocked especially for the price point.
