“The hotel is a very short distance from the M6, which makes it an ideal stop over. The accommodation was really comfortable with lovely restaurant and bar facilities. “Our room, on the first floor, was excellent with lovely views. The food was of a high quality and the service was very good except on one of our three evenings when we were forgotten about and it took at least three complaints to get our meal started. On this occasion we were in the restaurant for about two hours and it took 45 minutes before we got our starter. This was a shame because otherwise everything was perfect.”

“Dogs friendly lodge. I do appreciate people in the UK treat their dogs as families. We saw a lot of friendly dogs in the lodge. What a great experience.

“Room was reasonable, hotel facilities lacking, only option for water was to purchase small bottles at £2 each, no ability to get a hot drink after dinner time as they switch of machines. Stayed 2 nights but no room cleaning so no replenishment of essentials e.g. toilet roll. Beautiful location and would likely stay again due to this but only due to location so close to beach.”
