Now it has turned into a Spa Resort, great for those who like and want to be pampered, no problems there, but we did find the restaurants evening menu is now very restricted for choice., plus there was always cold blasts of air, making it very uncomfortable to dine. "Went for last summer trip before school Literally right opposite waterworld and 50 minutes to Alton towers. Hotel was lovely and clean friendly staff. Bar & Restaurant area was lovely Rooms were nice and clean . Beds were nice, but pillows were really soft, but that's jusrt personal preference Breakfast was amazing lots of choice Only downside our room was underneath a function, and was noisy also smoking area right underneath our room, so children found it difficult to get to sleep. Thought with having children they would of put us in another room has booking did have children on it Other than that lovely stay and would return"

"Nice clean and well appointed room. Friendly staff. Parking a hassle though - there's a small car park over the road which was full each evening, leaving on street (in a bit of a dodgy location) or other paid parking nearby. Good selection of restaurants nearby."

"I had an incredible stay at the swan. I got a free upgrade to their Suite and it was beautiful! The 4 poster bed was elegant and comfy. The room had loads of space and it was very clean. All the bath products smelt amazing. I'm annoyed that I forgot to buy some at reception when I left. I had dinner too and the staff were very helpful and great service. Food was yummy , as was the cocktail. The whole place has a great atmosphere. The breakfast was lovely and lots of choice for hot and cold options. Can't recommend it enough!"

"Have stayed there at least 5-6 times in the last 4 years (and I stay there for 8-10 days at a time). It’s my go-to when I’m in the area. Property is great, features are good, great transportation access, good staff. Now that I’ve stayed a few times the (very) little things start to bother me. They could do with upgrading the in-room TV entertainment experience, and I’m noticing the room cleaning is starting to slip a bit (carpets with old stains, non working secondary lights etc.). Just small stuff, but worth addressing to keep up a high standard."
