"Pink Shell is a great place to stay with lots of things to do without leaving the resort. The resort was very clean and staff were pleasant. There are many different places to purchase food and drinks and plenty of free fun activities. The included breakfast is a step above and was very convenient. This location is at the end of the Blvd, but is well within walking distance to the area downtown. There is also a shuttle trolley that's very convenient for those unable to walk much. The downtown area offers different restaurants, ice cream shops, souvenir shops and kiosks. We had a great time and would book this resort again."

"Overall great experience nice and clean room, the Italian restaurant pretty good, the upper deck restaurant not too good menu items overpriced compared with the Italian one. The pancakes exaggerated big just to look at them I lost my appetite "

"Overall satisfied with the property. Really nice pool and garden area. Pool was very clean and kept up. Room was smaller than pictures showed but the kitchenette was convenient. Bathroom is small. So small. And the room we were in did not have a plug in the bathroom ??? Also only other mirror in the room did not have a plug nearby. Very hard to get ready but we made it work. Our room was also clean along with the rest of the property. I did not see one bug 😊 staff were very friendly and pleasant. Amenities were nice! Breakfast is simple but free! Kids loved the pop tarts and coffee cakes! My one complaint is the amount of light from outside at night. Only thin curtains on windows and the lights outside blast through and around the outside. If you want a place to sleep where you won’t spend a whole lot of time in the room that is budget friendly, this is a good place! We spent most of our time out and about and only were there in the morning and at night. If you plan to visit fort myers beach and sanibel island in season, plan for a lot of traffic! Took us 45min-1hour to get to fort myers beach. It’s about 1.5 miles. Go early! Find parking and have a second breakfast before the beach early! I don’t suggest the trolly. Eat at Izzy’s downtown, so good!! "

"Now have to 'request' coffee maker. On duty manager wanted to argue about setup even though sign in room said 'on request'. Hope this isn't all HIE policy. Limited breakfast last day due to 'an emergency'. Overbooked, king bed and sofa really isn't an upgrade from 2 Q's, a small partician does not make 'suite,"

"The staff was welcoming. I was disappointed when the room I reserved was not available. The next day I got the room I reserved. It was inconvenient to have to move all our things to another room . The hotel is nicely decorated & maintained in good condition. "

"We always stay at the Lighthouse when we visit Fort Myers Beach. They have everything you would need for your beach stay. The staff is super accommodating, from the parking attendant to the front desk. They all really go above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Close to all the beach activities going on at Fort Myers Beach. "
