“I stayed at the Mitre several times during my visit to England. Not only is the location amazing, opposite Hampton Court Palace, on the River Thames, and close to Bushey Park, but the staff are fabulous. They go above and beyond. Professional, kind, thoughtful, helpful and welcoming. Special shoutout to Ashley, Sabrina, Alina and Blaze - thank you. Good to know - Air conditioning units were being installed in some of the bedrooms as I left!!”

“No Parking close by to drop off luggage. Treacherous, steep downhill path through a park to take several heavy suitcases. Incredibly poor communication from the property, who in the first instance did not respond for over a week to our request for an early check in. e repeatedly asked host for check in details,and we eventually got them on the day of check in only 15 minutes before scheduled (normal) check in time, at which time we were already at the weddding of my daughter, having travelled……

“My husband and I spent 2 nights at The Swan Inn. The staff were all fantastic and the food at the restaurant was great. Having a breakfast cooked to order included in the price was a nice surprise. The accommodation was good value and the bedroom, while small, was well designed. The shower was fabulous with lovely shampoo and soaps. Our only criticism was the bed and pillows. The mattress was mis-shapen (so much so that I fell out of bed twice). The duvet was too small and the pillows were……

“Edwina was a welcoming host! Nothing was too much trouble! Made sure we always had what we need! Accommodating our American car! Fabulous fresh cooked breakfast! Room was lovely which was cleaned daily. The best shower pressure! Tea coffee, water and juice in the room. Great location, walking distance to Esher town centre and the Racetrack! Highly recommend Edwinas home!”

“We highly recommend staying at the Selwyn. It’s located in walking distance of great shops, restaurants, and all Richmond’s highlights (including the train station). It’s a beautiful boutique hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Also, close for a day trip to Hampton Court.”

“案内された部屋は綺麗であったが、洗面台の栓が開かず→水が流れず。 ホテルより、すぐには修理不可の為、部屋の変更打診あり。 変更後の部屋は、狭く設備も若干劣った。 部屋の清掃スタッフは洗面台の栓が壊れていることはわかっているはずであり、ホテルフロントとの連携が不十分と思える。”

“It was brilliant location for sandown race course and the room had everything we needed.”

“The size of the room is good, but there are no supplies in the bathroom, no toothpaste/toothbrush set, no hairdryer, etc… Because the kettle was broken and replied with no replacement, have to ask the front desk to provide a bottle of water instead. ”
