"Lovely helpful staff. Nice kitchen area. Very good breakfast included. Good location. The only negative was that our windows rattled all night for our 3 day stay due to the wind which is very strong here at the top of the hill. "

"The good: The lobby and the hotel is actually beautiful. The owner-designer has done a pretty good job there. The OK: 1) No pool 2) Nothing much for kids to do on the property 3) Breakfast for vegetarians is fruits. Upon asking the previous night, the next day they served rice-beans burrito. People, learn to accommodate those who don't want to harm animals. 4) Extremely tiny rooms "

"We loved our stay at Macadamia! The unit is self-contained and well-equipped with everything that you might need - even salt and oil if you want to cook and laundry detergent for the washing. There is a fantastic soda just 5 mins walk away. The air conditioning was fantastic in one room and not so good in the other, but it gets cool at night and you can open the windows. We even saw an armadillo next to the driveway! Guillermo is super helpful, and this is a wonderful place to stay. "

"Breakfast was wonderful and fresh. staff were so friendly and helpful. They help set up excursions. The owner was so kind and helpful. He pointed out wildlife that you could see around the property. family friendly. It is a little bit away from the town but we liked being more in nature. the stars were so bright and the sunset was beautiful. I'd stay there again!"

"What a gem! from a warm welcome at check in to checkout Tityra lodge was a oasis in the mountains. We stayed as a family of four and and two bedrooms. The lodge was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and although small there was plenty of choice. They even remembered my wife’s allergy which was mentioned at check in and highlighted unsuitable foods. We used the hot tub which was a lovely treat. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed a walk around the boundary trail. It is a car drive from monteverde so would recommend if you have a car."

"Great cabin with excellent surroundings. We stayed in cabin#3. Suggestion for owner to install privacy curtain at main entrance door."
