“I like the room was very clean. There is a mini fridge but wasn't mentioned in the description, so it would have been very useful to know in advance for the plans we had. Also, laundry is mentioned but be aware that isn't inside of the house. It is a Laundromat close by where you can pay with coins or use an app. Our house 8A wasn't in front of the lake as it was shown in the photos.”

“Clean newly renovated cabins where you wake to a beautiful view of the lake and access to boats for the lake. Big deck. Really comfortable.”

“Definitely felt like a vacation property and not someone’s home. Very comfortable stay even though we were not able to take advantage of the outdoor amenities due to weather. Hankins is a very small and quiet town. Callicoon is nearby and has decent restaurants and small shops”

“Mike & Debbie are wonderful hosts, very social but don't push past what you're comfortable with. There little camp is neat, clean, beautiful set up. They provide towels, shampoo & body wash! My kind of camping. There is a bit of a hill to get to the cabins but they also have an accessible cottage for someone may need it. Their 2 pups, Luna & Roxy, will great you & check on you throughout the day. You'll love your stay!”

“From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Mike and Deb have poured their hearts into this property. The care, love, and attention they have given every detail—from the beautifully maintained grounds to the incredible cabin itself—can be felt instantly. The setting is peaceful, remote, and absolutely stunning. The cabin has everything you could possibly need, yet it’s the character that makes it unforgettable. The décor is fun, unique, and full of personality (yes, there’s even a……

“Mike and Debs were super friendly and welcoming! The hut is clean and comfortable with phone chargers and heating. There are several properties on the same land including an RV and cottage. There are also 2 neighboring huts sharing the same campfire and bathroom, but it is not cluttered and there was no clashing with neighbors. If you’re from out of town, ask Mike for restaurant recommendations! Their dogs are also so sweet and make the cutest mascots!”
