Dejligt ophold

Dejligt roligt sted. God plads i vores lejlighed, og dejlig stor grund. Udlejer bor på grunden, og er meget hjælpsom og imødekommende. Udlejer har nogle søde hunde. Kun små 2 km på gåben ned til børnevenlig strand. Perfekt base til at udforske Toscana.

Great property

It had everything that we were looking for our extended family of 10 to have a wonderful and relaxed vacation: 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, air conditioning, pool, close to the beach, free parking and wifi. As a bonus, it had a huge yard that made possible other outdoor activities, and last, but not least, great hosts. Thank you, Daniele e Gabriella! Cristian

A great family experience

There was a large lawn which was great for recreational activities, like sports. The view of the mountains was breathtaking. The rooms were large and created a great family setting. The pool and jacuzzi were well kept and really fun for the family. The owner of the property was extremely kind. I would go there again

Fantastic villa with large grounds, great location.

We had a fantastic stay in this villa. We were two families and the accommodation suited us perfectly. The pool was the main feature for us and the large grounds around the villa was great for kids playing football and sports. The location was perfect for exploring the other towns, Lucca is a must visit. The beach is close by, just a mile from the villa, where there are lots of restaurants and bars. The owner was very helpful and communication was good. Generally really enjoyed our experience and hope to return to Italy next year!

Beautiful grounds,lots of space great pool

Okay, mixed emotions about the property. Great location near to Lido de Camiore and Viareggio and some excellent local restaurants. As a regularly user of HomeAway properties in Europe (France, Portugal and Spain) there was a distinct lack of guest info i.e. A book/pack of where things were locally, wifi code (we got this after 4 days from the guys upstairs), nearby attractions/recommended places to eat etc, where the washing machines is (again thanks to the chaps upstairs). The pool was great with lots of sun beds available and the cabana was a nice respite from the blazing sun. Talking of which - it was soooo hot and the house didn't have air con. Not a problem in itself it there was no ceiling or room fan which meant that due to the amount of mosquitoes we had to close the bedroom shutters = stifling heat at night. Also, the house was a 4 bed. Only 2 wine glasses and no plastic glasses at all- always a risk when you're around the pool. Property also "home" to 2 dogs of owner/caretaker (?). Bit of a surprise but no issue for us as we have a dog and 2 of the soundest dogs ever. If you don't like dogs, not sure what you would/they would do? Also, the bedding? Could do with €150 being spent in IKEA on some plain bedding and get rid of the 70's style stuff they had. So why 4 stars when so many negatives? Overall space huge and well proportioned (3 bathrooms), great outdoor area with BBQ, ping pong table, pool, gardens, etc great location. Might even have given 5 stars but for the heat in bedrooms/lack of fans / still riddled with mozzie bites due to above.

Extremely nice and well kept property with lots of playing- and relaxation space.

We were two families of 4 people each who stayed for 10 days. The property and the house were very well kept with all necessities for a pleasent stay. The area was quiet, however, it was only a short walk down to the more busy beach promenade with restaurants and shops. The kitchen was well equipped. A gas barbeque was available, as well as laundry facilities, hence, we chose to eat in most of the evenings. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding areas such as Firence, Cinque Terre, Pisa, Lucca and small mountain top towns. All in all, strongly recommended. Fantastic host family!!
