The house was in a perfect location so close to beach and restaurants. The pool was warm and the hot tub was awesome. It is a great house for a crowd. We had 4 couples and there were plenty of seating areas.

Captiva Holiday

My family had a wonderful time at Sandy Seas Villa. The addition of the lower level king bed suite is much appreciated. The twin beds on top floor and the bedroom off of the kitchen could use new mattresses. We needed a few items for the kitchen and we received them in short order. We hope to be back next year.

Great Stay in Captiva

We just got back from a week at Sandy Seas with extended family in two houses on the street with 6 adults, two teens, and two kids all in SSV comfortably. The location of the house to the beach and restaurants is perfect. The sand is hot so bring flops and bug spray for after the sun goes down as the no-see-ums are terrible. We hit RC Otters, Captiva Cantina, and Green Flash and they were all great. Found out that the Mucky Duck is beer and wine only so no pina coladas on the beach, oh well. We rented pontoons from Tween Waters and hit Cabbage Key for a Cheeseburger in Paradise and even went on a charter fishing trip for snapper and snook that the kids loved. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit as well, although the spiral staircase is not exactly kid friendly. The beds are not the best, but nothing terrible. The AC on the main level and basement worked great, not so great on the third floor where the master suite and twin bedroom are. It was tough for three families to live out of one fridge for a week. An extra fridge and ice machine would have been really nice to have. $50 on ice from the store a day adds up. Oh and the ice machine in the fridge doesn't work. Was surprised to find out that there is no beach equipment at the house and you have to rent it. Luckily we brought some of our own. All in all we had a great time and really enjoyed Captiva.

Sandy Seas was spotlessly clean upon arrival. It has a well stocked kitchen. The beds were very comfortable. The close proximity to the beach was perfect for our family since we had toddlers and an infant with us. The crystal clear pool was great for the kids and adults. We swam in it every morning and it was refreshing after a day on the beach. The home is within very easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants on Captiva. We will definitely be returning.

The house is in a perfect location, we spent our family vacation bouncing from the beach to the pool to the restaurants at the end of the road. Once we arrived we never had to get back in the car until it was time to leave.

Perfect Getaway

If you are lucky enough to find an open date for your stay at this property. Grab it! This location was perfect. Short walking distance to all shops and eateries. The beach is less than 25 meters away and very private. Great response times to questions.

Family vacation

The property worked very well for us - the proximity to the beach was fantastic. The property needs some TLC - clogged drain in master bath, limited kitchen / bar items. Furniture was functional but not comfortable. Overall a very positive experience - the property management company was very responsive too.

Just Awesome

The location was so great! We didn’t even have to pack our lunch, we could just simply walk back to the house and grab a bite! The pool area was a wonderful place to come back from the beach and hang out when we were done in the sun! The house was big enough for the 11 of us to hang out and not be on top of each other. All the screened in areas were great because the mosquitoes were horrible! We loved the house so much we are already booked for next year!

Wonderful beach vacation

The overall property was great! We had plenty of room for 6 adults and 4 children. We had a wonderul location, right next to the beach. A very short walk to the beach along with a nice pool for the whole family to enjoy. The only negative and why I didn't give five stars was because of the stove. The oven worked fine but, the top burners only had one temperature and that was high. We burned the bacon because it would not regulate to low. Please replace the stove and you have five stars. A family of ten needs to be able to cook. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the little pathway to the beach was really neat to walk through! Loved how close it was to the amazing beach! Having all beach chairs and coolers already there was a major bonus! Thanks for all the extras! Great communication with us when there was someone coming to drop off new chairs for the deck! Beautiful chairs!

Whole family vacation

We had a great time! The location was perfect and there was plenty of room for the whole family. Sand toys and beach chairs and wagon were perfect got lots of use. Ice cream shop at end of street!! Only problems were the door in pool area was broken at bottom hinge, a couple of outside chairs were broken, still things left in dresser drawers from past guests and sheets on master bed did not stay on.
