Head out the other direction just a short drive (or a long walk) and you have Carillo, an incredible beach that is lined with palm trees and so wide and expansive it almost seems private. 「The staff was exceptional. The location and setting was exceptional. But some things were substandard. Breakfast was boring and same every day. Eg no croissants or breakfast pastries, only bread for toast. No cheese or cold meat or fish selection. No variety of fruits. Rooms were spacious but… no closet, no hangers. No place to hang clothes, no place to hang wet towels and bathing suits. Huge balcony with a tiny two-seater couch with no cushions. No cushions on the indoor couch either. A little...

「We arrived hours earlier than check-in and were able to get our room pretty quickly. The front desk staff were very helpful and kind. The room was spacious and clean and we really appreciated the pool on those hot days. Samara is quite small, so we were able to walk to everything.」

「Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was fantastic and you could not beat the location. Pool was perfect. The only downside was the street noise. You could hear all the vehicles (we were on the main floor). Not a deal breaker for sure!」

「Vincent was wonderful and took great care of us. We felt welcomed upon arrival and the room was very nice. The traditional breakfast was fantastic and we have had it 100x before - they just do it better. After check out, they let us hang and relax by the pool as we waited for our shuttle, not making us feel rushed at all - very hospitable the whole time!」

「Had a booking confirmation but were told after 5h drive they didn’t have a room and it was ‘resolved’ with Expedia. Expedia ended up compensating but seemed to have been a maintenance issue on Belvedere’s side and bad communication. I highly recommend the hideaway hotel who ‘rescued’ us.」
