“The apartment was in bad shape. The only hot water was the bathroom sink. There was bugs in the apartment. The furniture was falling apart. The apartment lucked like it was under Construction. I would not advise booking a stay here. ”

“When we arrived there were no rooms available, even though we had a prepaid guarenteed reservation through Orbitz, and we were turned away. When we requested a refund via Orbitz it was denied. We were out aproximately $100 for the room and $25 for a taxi to another hotel. The only positive was that the Hotel clerk did help us find another hotel. I chated with and Orbitz agen for about 15 - 20 minutes who was virtually no help at all. ”

“This is a really special place! The setting is magical - falling asleep to the sounds of the jungle, and waking up to immersive views on three sides. Beyond the location itself, the team are extraordinary and make you feel like family. Wonderful activities too - highly recommend the rafting and the massage. The only thing missing for me is wifi in the rooms, which was only a factor because I was working remotely during the week. Otherwise I can see this as a positive for many guests as it allows……

“We visited Roatan for the first time and stayed at Acqua di Mare for two weeks in February. The hospitality at Acqua di Mare was exceptional. We started our days having breakfast and were served by Susan and Silvia who were efficient, accommodating, and went out of their way to make sure breakfast was great. “Great location in a beautiful setting. Every staff member was amazing- always friendly and willing to help. Very clean with lush landscaping. You can actually swim to the reef for snorkeling from the end of their pier. We ate almost all of our meals on site, because the food was so good. Staff is very helpful & provided great recommendations for tours and other activities. Transportation is super easy and inexpensive.”
