「Gorgeous property- excellent food & location. Loved it」

「The staff were the absolute best part! So friendly and accommodating. We didn't realize that the hotel has a 2-star Michelin restaurant~ had we known, we would have made plans and booked in advance! As it was, the breakfast and normal dinner restaurant (the Bistro) were amazing. The location is pretty out of the way, but this hotel made it worthwhile.」

「It was very convenient a with everything we needed. It is a bit far away from the more touristy areas. But great if that is what you are looking for. Staff are good at communication and very friendly and helpful. Grocery store less than a block away.」

「I cannot say enough good things about the Canto do Luz. The property and rooms are lovely and the food is delicious but the staff is amazing! They are very friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. I highly recommend!」

「The room is spacious and clean. However, we are having unreasonable charge of one night without our consent. We paid for 2 nights and our credit card had been charged for the 2 nd night and we were found out this debit on our Visa card later. Not until our second email to the hotel that the management team explained this is a system error. We have very unpleasant stay with this issue.」

「Susana and Alberto were amazing hosts and made us feel extremely welcome. We ended up needing a late check-in (due to a flight delay) and an early check-out (due to an early flight) and they were really accommodating, arranging our airport transfers for us. The hotel is well situated in a nice quiet street close just a short walk from the city centre. We stayed in the Conguita suite and everything was clean and of a high standard. I’d definitely stay again and wouldn’t hesitate recommending...

「Overall great stay at a beautiful property. As the location is more removed from center of town it is quiet and peaceful (but it does mean you have a walk to get anywhere). The pool was great during the heatwave, however there are only a handful of beds so unless you're early you do miss out. Most of the staff were also incredibly helpful. The room itself is beautiful and the bed extremely comfortable and they leave little chocolates on your pillow each night - cute touch!」
