「Oporto Street Fonte Taurina is just one street above Cais de Ribera. That is where all the action is and right on the river. Full of restaurants and shopping, and beautiful views of Vila Nova de Gala. Vila Nova de Gala is also where the Port Wines come from and it is an easy walk across the bridge. 「Clean room, friendly staff and great location. Hotel is on a limited access road so only real Taxis are allowed to enter to the front of the hotel. If not you must walk your bags down a pretty inclined street to the property. 」

「I want to give this property more credit but had a very unfortunate experience. We came back to our room on our trip to find that they had double booked our room. This meant that as we walked up, a complete stranger was standing in the living room with the door wide open. We were incredibly lucky to have walked up at that exact moment or else he would have had complete access to all of our belongings. I may have missed it in the instructions but, there's no sign in front of the building and it is very nondescript - you need to call by phone to have someone let you in. 」
