"Not true 5 star as building is tired outside (stained), buffet breakfast was inedible as luke warm, lack of range of offering. No English breakfast teabags at breakfast or in room. No milk available in room, only small cream. Lovely small hotel, 25 min walk to Porto river, only 3 euro in taxi. Clean thou, and staff friendly. "

"Excellent hotel. Very clean with increibly attentive staff. Breakfast is amazing. Location was brilliant, right in the heart but not loud. Rita and Sandro were brilliant masseuses too! Well worth it."

"We had a lovely 4 night stay with friends, the room was very clean & functional, the staff were friendly & very helpful..My husband celebrated his birthday while we were there, & the staff presented a birthday cake to him,& booked us into a fabulous restaurant for a birthday meal, where the staff there made him feel special too"

"The hotel was lovely, great location & staff were great. We got a free drink of port and you could have free coffee and cake in the afternoon which was a lovely touch. We couldnt access the roof terrace during our stay which i asume was due to the weather. The only thing letting the hotel down was surrounding noise,the room was so warm we tried to sleep with the window open but couldnt, even with the window shut you could hear passers by shouting until easily 4.30am.. out of the hotels control but we really didnt sleep much the 3 nights and was ready to come home. To note we were the 5th floor too."
