「Unfortunately, my stay at Hilton Inn Tulare was a very disappointing experience. I had a reservation for 9/25 and 9/26. The first night, there was a significant amount of noise coming from the room above us. I called the hotel to complain because I was unable to sleep for most of the night. 「The service was extremely poor. In the morning, my room door was opened for no reason, and when they saw that I was inside, they immediately closed it again without giving any explanation or apology. Later, I reported this incident to the front desk, but the staff seemed indifferent and simply said it might have been housekeeping. However, this is a serious safety issue — why would someone open a guest’s door without knocking first?」

「The cabin had what we needed to make our stay comfortable. Kitchen had what we needed for the groceries we brought. The cooler wasnice to have as we ventured out to the national park everyday. The distance to the park takes longer then you would think, the road is so curvy, that was the only thing I would change.」

「Kayaks are provided daily. Weather was great for the end of September. Had a pancake and sausage breakfast on the second morning and met a lot of the regular guests. They had been coming here for 28, 30 and 32 years! Grounds and hotel are very well kept. Pool was heated and hot tub and fire pit was nice to have at the end of a day here! Solo senior traveller that enjoyed her stay very much.」

「We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a charming hotel, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our deluxe one bedroom with the kitchen worked perfectly for us. We would recommend this hotel as a lovely place to stay in Lake Tahoe.」
