“Absolutely would NOT recommend staying here. We ended up getting a different hotel and Expedia did not refund me but the room was absolutely filthy. Moldy shower curtains, dusty fan, dirty sheets, sticky floor, dead spiders, fingerprints on mirror and a porn vhs in the closet. The key was not provided and room was left open. Later the neighbor knocked on our door to give us back the tv remote. Left because we felt unsafe. ”

“This area is not for novice hikers. Recommend Groundhog Meadow hike to get acclimated. Staff were friendly and cabin was clean and comfortable.”

“It was a long and beautiful drive to get there, but the treacherous journey was worth it. The roads are paved clean these winter months and the area around is quite peaceful and considerably spacious. The cabin was everything it needed to be packed, cozy, and beautiful. Advise that you should have a full tank of gas before entering the mountains because the journey is long and the nearest gas station is an hour away from the cabin.”
