“The cabin was amazing. Richard and Jeanie thought of everything a guest could possibly want and need. From the comfortable bed and linens to the paper and kindling already set to go in the fire pit, to the gorgeous well well-stocked kitchen, everything was perfect. “The best host EVER: quick responses, accommodating, and went beyond expectations (set up a Christmas tree!). The cabin is beautifully decorated, well-stocked with nice dishes and cookware and coffee-making optionsu. Some downsides are that the upstairs bedrooms are not separated by a door and there’s only one bathroom, but kitchen and bath recently remodeled. ”

“It was a long and beautiful drive to get there, but the treacherous journey was worth it. The roads are paved clean these winter months and the area around is quite peaceful and considerably spacious. The cabin was everything it needed to be packed, cozy, and beautiful. Advise that you should have a full tank of gas before entering the mountains because the journey is long and the nearest gas station is an hour away from the cabin.”

“The cute cabin was very clean and the description was accurate. Love that it was pet-friendly. Check in was easy and the detailed instructions for driving there were easy to follow. Nice walk up the (very quiet) road with gorgeous views, into the NP (closed to cars). It is quite remote so driving out and into the NP by the main gate takes about 30 minutes. Kitchenette was well equipped. The one thing we would have changed was more blankets on the bed - it was a thin coverlet and was not clear……

“The property was great, a cabin overlooking the river, as advertised. The river was too low to see when we were there in summer, but I guess that is a seasonal thing. Close to the park entrance and local shops. Great location. It's on a road, so there is some road noise. But nearly all the traffic is to the park so it stops around dusk.”
