“Great accommodations! Very relaxing! ”

“We had a great time in Akumal and the Nahil rental was outstanding. The location was perfect. The management company was very responsive. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The unit was gorgeous and the view amazing. It was close to so many things that we did not need a car. Walking to dinner was easy. We also walked to the closest cenote (Yal-Ku) and to swim with the turtles. We only took local transportation once to a further cenote and the management company arranged it for us. Plus……

“Akumal is a special town that I have visited for over 25 years. This was my first time staying at LaSerina. Such a lovely location. The courtyard gardens are full of beautiful tropical plants, and is beautifully maintained. There is a large lovely pool in the center of this courtyard. The condo was decorated in traditional Mexican decor with lots of nice personal touches. The staff were amazing. Would definitely stay here again.”

“the ocean was visible from our room, however the beach was covered in sea weed wich i understand is normal but nothing was done to clean the beach. we enjoyed our pool very much !! the water in the pool became visible dirty after a few days , the same thing happened to the main pool and nothing was being done about it. i think housekeeping needs to step it up.”

“This place is super clean and cute and is everything they said it would be. The view is astounding! I know they have no control of this, but the sargasso was 3 ft high on the small beach ringing the entire bay, and 20 feet out from the shore. Sad to say, though it's one of my favorite places in the world, the Riviera Maya has got to figure this out!”

“Not outstanding, just a fair place to stay. A 2 bed 2 bath condo is about the same price as this one bed, one bath suite after all the fees and taxes are added to the final cost. Unable to negotiate price per night with owner. Bed very comfortable, toilet needs fixed, maid service was excellent, kitchen offered the bare minimum utensils for making meals. Plan to eat out because of this. Refrigerator makes constant noise. Coffee pot had to be “programmed “ in order to brew. Confusing to us so we……

“We enjoyed 3 nights at Del Sol. We loved being right on the beach and the easy walk to town of Akumal. Hope to return to Akumal again. The host was extremely helpful and on site support were very attentive whenever we needed anything. Overall great stay!!”

“Beautiful property, just like the photos, fantastic views. Gina was helpful and responded to all our questions. Property was cleaned every day which was a nice bonus. Pity about the sargussum but this is global warming. Restaurants easily walkable to great place to chill.”
