This house was full of charm and in a fantastic location! It was walkable to plenty of restaurants and shops, but was off a side street so still quiet. It had plenty of space to gather and visit for our group of 6, and the outdoor space was also wonderful. We were a little wary of some of the upstairs floorboards since some were very loose or cracked/broken, but none caused us any issues, we just made sure we were careful. The decor was lovely and each bedroom was thoughtfully decorated; it was hard to pick a favorite! The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were large and accommodating. The kitchen was spacious and was overall well stocked with basics, but bring specifics if you plan to stay for a long time and do any involved cooking or want to use things like a blender, or large bowls or things like that. Check in was very easy, but we weren't super clear about check out. We didn't receive any instructions for tasks to do before leaving (things like taking out trash or stripping linens and the likes) so we messaged the host but never heard back. We did our best and guessed about some typical tasks from previous Vrbo stays and didn't hear complaints, so I guess that was ok? Overall, we all loved our stay and would definitely stay again in the future!

The porch is a highlight of this property. We sat out on the porch every morning and every evening during our 4 night stay. The location is fantastic. Bedroom choices were good. None of the bath rooms are attached to a bedroom, so no matter what bedroom you stay in, you will be exposed in the hall way when you walk to and from the bathrooms. Not a big deal, but we would have preferred one ensuite bathroom.One thing to note — the house is only air conditioned upstairs which was a surprise to us. Luckily the outside temperatures were never above the high 80’s, so the downstairs main level was comfortable enough. Fans were provided.Bring all your own shampoo, cream rinse, and blow dryers. None were provided.Coffee beans were provided, but we could not find the grinder. My sister and I each brought our own ground coffee, so I never inquired.Clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Location 10/10, the house was dirty when we arrived with hair in sheets, dust on floors and bugs on kitchen windowsill and floor. We contacted host and he resent the cleaner. She did not do much. We had high hopes of spending afternoons outside with our kids running around but yard was not maintained and had lots of weeds. Bathroom showers need updating and would be nice to have shampoo/ soap available for how much we spent per night. Some bedroom doors wouldn’t shut and the door handles are creaky and wobbly. At the end of the trip the AC broke, messaged host and did not respond. Needs some renovating and a deep clean to be listed at this price. The house had a lot of charm and with improvements could be worth the price per night.
