“This is a fantastic pub to stay and dine at. 4 nights here with wonderfully comfortable and quiet room. Excellent staff, great evening menu and food. Lovely atmosphere. Amazing walking right from the front door, car did not move for the whole time. The breakfast is the only thing that needs attention… the full English is good quality and well cooked but took 30-40 mins to arrive and on cold plates - easily rectified I hope. The yoghurt is a cheap sweetened option only and limited fruit. All can……

“We managed to park outside which was great very useful. We got there a little bit early but Diane at the reception desk was fantastic. We got all booked in up in the room off to adventure in the Docklands. The room was lovely and tidy. Very neat everything that you needed very warm had to open the window but all the staff were fantastic. Breakfast was great. Would definitely stay there again I think they’re a fantastic location and absolutely brilliant staff. Thanks for a wonderful day Cliff. ”

“Nice room excellent breakfast. Requested bath but only had shower. Was rather cold and ni instructions in the room for heating, but overall lovely venue nice grounds and I would go again ”

“Everything is in average. The hardware is definitely needed to be upgraded. Staff were nice. If you have plan to dine in their restaurant, be prepared to be very patient for waiting, however food was nice.”

“Although parts of the hotel are tired and need some tlc, the room was nice and clean. Lovely comfortable bed, the heater was fine, alot more controllable than most hotels. Staff were fab, gym and pool were really good. Although dinner was rather disappointing, expensive, small portions, in the restaurant, the buffet breakfast was fabulous. We felt for a few minor issues it was still great value for money and would definitely stay again, just not eat there at night ! ”

“an very old inn which just renovated few years before. Wonderful service bu those very friendly and helpful staffs but one problem is the rooms which located on the ground floor are just next to the bar courtyard, you can hear all the noises by the customers because they just seats outside your windows.”
