「We have used Hotels.com many times and Sykes cottages a number of times this past year al very good and this was excellent. The booking was easy but the owner of this cottage was excellent in communication and instructions ( Gaynor ) there isn’t enough I could say and we had the privilege of meeting her when she did midweek check on jacuzzi. The kitchen well designed for easy use and very well equipped with everything. Bed really comfortable. We do a lot of walking so the jacuzzi was a massive...

「We had a wonderful week in Douglas Cottage. We loved the fantastic basket of goodies provided on our arrival. The Cottage was beautifully presented and in spotless condition. Beds and furnishings are very comfortable and every need is provided for. A quiet peaceful place to return to and relax in the evenings. Excellent, would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Chester.」

「Property is ideal for a couple, short or longer stay. Very clean and comfortable. Location is excellent within a quiet area very close to City Centre. Great shops - highly recommended Butcher - and three great Pubs with nearest next door but one and furthest about a minute away. Parking on road is limited to 30 minutes between 0800 and 1800, but parking available close by, and was ok. Would recommend this property.」

「This accommodation was great , listening to the water running in the river was very therapeutic. Definitely return to Dee Heights and will recommend family and friends to stay here .」

「The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available.」

「Excellent accommodation, a lovely flat and an excellent location. The only issue we had was that Sykes who manage this property gave us the incorrect door code to gain access to the main part of the building 」
