"The upstairs 1 king and 1 queen was wonderful. Updated and modern colors on the walls. Bedding was comfortable and nicely done. Kitchen was pretty good, needed pot holders. Mini golf was fun and included in the amenities. Pools were great the shallow pool was pretty warm on one of the days but all around terrific time."

"Living in Va all our lives we've visited Williamsburg more times than I can count. This time though is the first time I decided to rent a house for my family of 4 rather than stay in a hotel. All I can say is it was 100% worth it. Most rentals in Williamsburg are timeshare and you just don't feel that homey feeling. So, renting this home was just what I was looking for.The hosts are wonderful and very responsive to any needs you may have. When they say you don't need to worry about bringing anything but your personals they're right. The house had all the essentials you'd have at home, plus more; my kids were especially fond of the snow cone maker. Their home is in a secluded off the beaten path but only 10 min from grocery stores, parks and lots of restaurant choices.Its also only within 20 min from all the attractions a family with young kids could want (water country & busch gardens, go ape ziplines, go karts & arcades, etc).Look no further, especially if you are traveling with a pet as they have a pet resort right next store and a gated backyard! I will note, from pool area you will hear pups barking when they are outside playing, but from inside the house you barely even notice. Not a bother for pup lovers like us, if anything we loved watching all the different kinds of pups getting dropped off."

"The River House at Claremont was one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. I am a huge Gone With the Wind fan and this property brought you back to the South prior to the Civil War all we needed were ball gowns to make it really authentic. The house was well appointed with the necessaries (toilet paper, tissues, and toiltetries). In addition the kitchen pantry had salt, pepper, flour and other staples. The interior of the house is amazing with much of the furniture handmade by the owner who was a master woodworker at Williamsburg. The host Anna was very friendly and communication was excellent. Can't wait to return to this wonderful property."
