“Terrible! This property is sadly neglected and has unacceptable aesthetic, and maintenance deficiencies. Our dingy room featured a worn-out mattress, shabby furnishings, peeling wallpaper, scruffy well-worn paint. The bedding was discoloured and heavily wrinkled. “What made this property and stay extraordinary was the host. Juliette was so wonderful! She made us an amazing to-order breakfast. She gave us a box to safely travel with a fragile purchase. She got a map and marked it all up for us with recommendations on what to see and where to go on a lovely hike, plus with the scenic route to get there. She recommended a dinner location and told us to stop in at the Thrifty so we could get very discounted ferry tickets. She was super friendly and we……

On Expedia there is no disclosure of this just that you’ll get good rest…when we arrived and checked in there was again no disclosure of this. Arriving in the room we noticed earplugs and thought that was weird but later realized that is because the semi trucks are going all hours of the night! “Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria.
