“The property was very close and convenient for where we wanted to be but could have been modernized a bit more. Room was comfortable but woke up finding ants in the bed. Staff friendly.”

“For a new property, there’s apparent wear and tear. Bathtub was scuffed and room snowed like marijuana. The sheets had what appeared to be bloody spots and the wash clothe from previous usage was still laying there. All of this made me feel uneasy. The pillows were uncomfortable and the AC was so loud that it was hard to fall asleep. Breakfast and coffee are available in the lobby, but not free compared to other hotels in the area.”

“Broken elevator. Room was 80 degrees took 2 hours to cool down. Room stunk”

“This room was excellent. Very clean. We were there for a softball tournament. My only complaint would be to get another washer and dryer. I had to wash uniforms and had to wait on a guy for a long while. Besides that very comfy beds. Everything was great. As to getting there the construction was rough. But very good overall.”

“The first room had dirty sheets and they had no housekeeping. There was no pool like there was supposed to be. There was no breakfast in the morning. Also paid 150 for my room which was overpriced and the hotel looks like a worker hotel just very run down. 10 out of 10 do not recommend.”

Amazing kitchen for your custom dinner &/or breakfast!!! Our breakfast was sooo yummy, homemade, custom! We will be back to enjoy a dinner, also! Great communication & fabulous host’s! The best greeting, travel info, tour of the estate, including a fabulous oasis outside with a private pool & hot tub! We will always stay there when we take……

“This was our third visit to Lone Star Resort. Each time was better than the last. I am sure there will be a fourth time in the future. The environment is very peaceful and relaxing. The room each time has been perfect - clean, inviting, a feel of home away from home. The staff is amazing. Friendly, attentive and totally interested in the well being of the guests. “Check in clerk was very friendly and accommodated our request for room location. Room was clean. Beds were clean. Bathroom was clean. Grandkids loved the breakfast options, including cereal and waffles. Food was warm. Would absolutely stay here again when traveling through.”
