“The staff need to be re-trained. House keeping was inconsistent - four towels, then two. Six waters, then none. Laundry had to be chased. The staff at the breakfast restaurant were appalling. Cutting in front all the time when walking, standing in groups talking whilst we were trying to open doors. Being told to move tables! Unhelpful at best. This is not a five star experience. Not even close.”

“Beautiful hotel, very centrally located and right next to the ocean.
Our room was nice and spacious and clean.
Staff and management were very nice and helpful all around.
Eg 1: I had hurt my ankle the previous day, and over our 2 day stay, they assisted my wife in getting ice for my leg.
Eg 2: We also needed a screwdriver to remove the battery from a toy we bought (for plane travel), and the staff went out of their way to help out with it (laughing at us).
The breakfast and dinner buffet……

“This is my 3rd time staying at this hotel, I basically like this hotel because I feel it new, model, clean. I recommend to all my colleague who need to go to Sri Lanka.
However, this time, I feel a bit disappointed, the room wasn’t really clean,
- first day when I check-in, I find there have a bottle of water had been drunk half.
- I feel the carpet had something to bite
- sometime, the room service did not throw the rubbish even it was full
- room service will laid part of the quilt on the……

“The hotel is about 10mins walk from the train station and 10 mins walk to the main area which is acceptable.
The decoration of the hotel is fabulous. Many paintings on the corridor which made me stop my steps and spent some time on it. The room is clean and comfortable with air-con and hot water for bathing. It was nice to have some free tea bags to taste and have a relax time in your room.
Breakfast at a very beautiful resturant with a good view to the pier. Food is quite good and full of……
