“Great low key hotel in an excellent location ”

“We loved staying here during Carnaval! The parades went right by this hotel. Perfect hotel for that event! Just one piece of advice…do not book the room that says “snack bar view.” The balcony view is blocked by a wall. Other than that this is a wonderful hotel. ”

They over charged me from the price I received in Expedia, but it's not even worth haggling because they didn't want me to ask about the charges saying, "Just sign paper. Just sign paper." I'm hoping to resolve this later with English speaking Expedia staff. The "discount" menu for people staying is garbage. The 3 fish tacos I ordered were disgusting at way too many pesos... They made me feel sick after……

“We had a wonderful stay! The staff members were so friendly and helpful, as was the owner Pam. They really made us feel at home. The villas are beautiful charming little suites with the bedroom and bathroom in an upstairs loft. The gardens and pool are all very enchanting and well kept. The location is perfect- on a very quiet street but everything you need is right aground the corner. Very close to the town center. Perfect stay! ”

“This is a lovely little gem on Cozumel—very laid-back and family-style. The property is run by a very friendly and attentive owner who is often on-site, which made the stay feel safe and welcoming. The location is excellent: walkable to the ferry terminal, main transportation areas, and many restaurants. My room was small and very basic, but the peaceful courtyard was beautiful and really the highlight of the stay. Overall, it’s a great place if you’re visiting the island for a night or two and……

“Overall, I had a good stay in one of the ocean view rooms. The room was spacious with strong air conditioning, and the balcony had a nice ocean view. The location is good, easy to walk to just about everything in town, 7/11 right downstairs. Staff were friendly and welcoming. A couple of downsides: the road outside can be noisy late into the early hours, and the property is a bit dated with some areas that could use better maintenance. “My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Flamingo. We had the Deluxe room with balcony. Room #21's balcony came with a table and two chairs, perfectly sized to step out and enjoy the partial Caribbean view The room was clean and spacious with a very comfortable king sized bed. The hotel's location is perfectly situated near all of the most desirable restaurants and shops. While the hotel offers an excellent breakfast in the courtyard, the bakery next door is awesome!!! “These folks treated us like family. They were kind and accommodating, and the hotel is clean, well-kept, and in a great location. Checkout was noon, but they allowed me to hang out at the pool until my husband returned from his diving trip a few hours later.nice people. ”

“Hotel Mary Carmen is a beautiful hotel which exceeded our expectations! Location is safe, quiet, very walkable (5min from the ferries, 1min from the plaza), and easy to find upon arrival. We loved the old-fashioned style with shared living spaces, and the garden and turtles. We appreciated the free water refill jugs on each floor and the first aid kits free for use. Our room was large (we got a free upgrade) and clean, had great wifi, quiet and functional AC unit, tidy bathroom, and good water……

“Amazing hotel, with an amazing staff. I have never stayed at a hotel where the entire staff was so helpful, accommodating, pleasant and friendly. My room was on the 4th floor and had a terrific view of the pier where the cruise ships came in, but was just far enough away so as not to be inundated with ship passengers. Great location from which you could easily and safely walk to restaurants, shopping, the plaza, and two large grocery stores if you needed to pick up stuff. I would highly……

“Absolutely great value!! This is a beautiful little hotel in a neighbourhood area, away from busy traffic, and the persistent "look at my stuff" walks. One of the best parts are the staff! Hard working, friendly, and always accommodating. Cathy George and David at the front desk are always ready to help, give advise or recommendations. The included breakfast is simple, and always fresh every morning. There are cafes a short walk away for alternative options. We had a room with two queen beds……
