「The hotel was conveniently located and we were able to take advantage of one of their reserved parking spaces. The room was clean and spacious and everything we needed was provided. We had an excellent cooked breakfast and the manager was friendly and helpful.」

「Hotel is not fit to house a dog. Blood and semen on the bed, bed made out of wood, exposed electrics, shower door that doesn’t close. Half the building had pigeons flying around inside which we seen as we pulled up. All was reported to reception and asked for a refund, which was refused. We left and booked another hotel! After 2 hours of phone calls to hotels.com they agreed to refund for our booking. 」

「We booked the Lily Room at the Blue Pigeon for our wedding anniversary, hoping for a quiet, restorative escape after a demanding few months. Unfortunately, the stay didn't quite deliver on that promise — though it wasn't without its highlights. Arrival set an unexpected tone. We walked into what appeared to be a large, lively bottomless brunch gathering — very much a party atmosphere — and could barely hear the receptionist over the noise. For guests seeking a peaceful retreat, this was quite a...
