“We stayed here for the proximity of the trails for riding our side by side. It was perfect for that! The cabin was very clean. It has all the basics you need from the kitchenette to the outside grill and picnic table. The shower is a little small, but worked just fine. The a/c was nice and cold! Just know if you are coming in summer, there is no shade around the cabin. The convenience store had great food offerings; just be sure you check the hours. “I stayed here briefly while working in the area, and would definitely stay there again if I'm back that way. The hotel is a little old, but my room was very clean and comfortable. It looked like it had been freshly painted and the bathroom had been recently remodeled. The wifi was reliable. There was a "New Owner" sign out front, so I think the older, poor reviews must be from before the ownership change. “This was just as listed. It is a cozy cottage close to the lake. We keep our boat at Choctaw Marina, so this worked out perfect for us. The communication with the owner was fast and all of our questions were answered. We had some family visiting the lake on the last day and the owner let us extend our check out by an hour.
