Copperhill Lodges

The Ocoee Whitewater Center, near Ducktown, Tennessee, United States, was the canoe slalom venue for the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta,[1][2] and is the only in-river course to be used for Olympic slalom competition. A 1,640 foot (500 m) stretch of the Upper Ocoee River was narrowed by two-thirds to create the drops and eddies needed for a slalom course. Today, the course is watered only on summer weekends, 34 days a year, for use by guided rafts and private boaters. When the river has water, 24 commercial rafting companies take more than 750 raft passengers through the course each day.

"The room was super clean. Everything smelled amazing. Only hiccup we had was ran putta hot water. It said it was a point of interest hw heater but i showered then wofe jumped in. She was half way and it went cold. For about 2 hours we kept checking. Finally at 1am it came back and all was right again lol. We had a good laugh. Also hot tub was clean and preheated which is amazing. "

"It was a beautiful weekend with family, the hot tub with Mountain View’s were amazing. Cute little downtown area. We really enjoyed Chester’s downtown. Helen was a close easy drive for the mountain coaster. We really wanted to do Margaritaville at Lake Lanier for snow tubing but it was canceled because of the weather but on our last day we woke up to snow and the kids were stoked so that was a great end to our trip! Dave was so helpful and understanding when we needed a later check out, really a great experience!"
