“New ownership and communication was terrible. Got to the resort with zero information from host and they had to create a new code to the door for us to get in. Texted them about a WiFi password and never got a reply back. Resort was beautiful would stay again but not with this host!”

“after trying to find this location that is nowhere near correct by the address given, we arrived to a building that appeared abandoned, got to the room to find a cheap lock box that was broken and had no knob or button to open the lock box, just a broken bit of plastic, struggled for 3 hours to get into the room, no answer from host through messages on app or phone, when they did finally text me it was at nearly 10 PM after I had already gotten another hotel in another town, customer service was……

“Flat 2 was truly the perfect space for us, and the location was close to where our family stays. Seeing the love, care, and transformation of the marina was truly a sight to behold, as someone who grew up going to Houghton Lake every summer. Kevin was accommodating, kind, and truly a pleasure to work with. He was fast at communication and made the check-in process as smooth as possible. The flat was clean, had all of the things you would need for your stay, and the common area had games for……

“From the outside we were worried but the room was awesome. One thing i would change is lower the hot water temp way to high little children may get scolded and its costing you money. But great little place and it's apparent you are making improvements daily. ”

“This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Betsy Ross House. It is very convenient for any activities in the area…easy walk to downtown. The house is clean and well appointed. The hosts are very generous with their welcome basket(s) and are easy to work with. The only issue is that you are sharing a house with an upstairs apartment and the walls are thin. We were unlucky on this visit that the neighbors were loud at inconvenient times. ”

“The room has been updated and the ac was good. Bed was comfortable even without a pillow top. A couple fluffy pillows would be nice. Also, an ice machine or a freezer in the fridge would have been nice. Overall, this motel is a good value and we will visit again.”
