"A pleasant surprise. Brilliant reimagining of a period property. Nice rooms and view. Lovely reception space. Located 5 mins from the archaeological museum, which is the main attraction in Heraklion. Also close to the old Venetian Harbour. Very helpful reception staff."

"My husband and I went to the Peninsula Resort and Spa from June 1 to June 11, 2025. It is a great hotel on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The view of the blue sea is stunning. The sun was always shining for 10 days in a row. The rooms are large, and the mattresses and pillows are very comfortable. The hotel is always clean, and the fridge is filled with water bottles. The pools are very clean, and there are a lot of chairs to lounge on. The buffet's food was extraordinary, with a huge amount of very high-quality and delicious food, always hot. They had several stations where pizza, pasta, eggs, etc., were made daily in front of the guests. They also had fresh fish, seafood, beef, chicken, and pork barbecued fresh daily. The French fries were always fresh and hot. They had all kinds of drinks and alcohol. The staff at the buffet and all the other pool bars were always smiling and ready to help. The reception staff was great and spoke many languages. The entertainment group is a hard-working team. Although the entertainment was the majority of the time in French, however, they also spoke English. The only thing that was tiring for me was the many, many stairs that I had to take every day to go down to the sea. But, if you're young and healthy, you won't have any problem with this resort. I fully recommend this resort."

"Really lovely hotel, in a convenient location, staff exceptional. Free drink in the room on arrival, which was a nice gesture. Room and bathroom were clean and a good size."

"Excellent location within a few minutes walking distance to the Venetian Port. One of the reasons I chose this hotel is that they have parking available and are so close to the area that can primarily be accessed on foot. The breakfast had a lot of Cretan food so it was a good introduction before venturing out. The shared outdoor and indoor sitting areas are very welcoming. The staff, including the valets, the front desk and the restaurant area, were super helpful and friendly. Would happily stay there again if I find myself in Chania."

Always there for your every need taking care of your every last concern All inclusive to the highest standards especially with our specific culinary needs the hotels nutritionist are always ready to do anything for your needs they where amazing both of them!!!
