“We booked this lodge last minute for a half term holiday so we were very happy when we saw it was available for a reasonable price. For the price we paid we were happy with the quality of the lodge. It is in good condition, with the sofas and bed particularly comfortable, and the kitchen having all the necessities you require. The only issue we had was the shower was temperamental, alternating from the water being very hot to cold, but that didn’t spoil our stay here. The location was perfect……

“Booked this lodge last minute as we wanted to catch the heatwave. Absolute perfect location. We have been to the lakes several times but never bassenthwaite. Brought the paddle boards and literally a 30 seconds walk to the water. So quiet, stunning views, just perfect. Short drive into keswick too. The Lodge is really modern and was clean and well presented. Had everything you needed for a comfortable break away. In fact the only negative thing we could say is that we had to come home! Will be……

“The lodge was the perfect size for the six of us and had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It was spotlessly clean, cosy and the beds were comfortable. The location was ideal, with plenty of local attractions within easy reach.
The hosts were fantastic, we accidentally left something behind and they were kind enough to post it back to us, which we really appreciated.
We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a……

“Great location and stunning views, but the lodge needs some TLC
The lodge is in a perfect location on the site, and the views of the lake are absolutely stunning. The beds were really comfortable, and the lodge was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay.
Unfortunately, the property itself is in need of some TLC. Internally, the issues were mainly cosmetic and didn't really bother us, but the outside area was a different story. A lot of the woodwork around the decking is rotting……
