"In Hope Valley lovely spot.
Our room had a lovely view of Edale.
Sunday roast was excellent & the staff could not have been more helpful that evening.
The only disappointment was the breakfast the next morning which was over cooked."
Perfect for all large groups in 7 all ensuite bedrooms . Pet friendly
8/10 Good
"I expected a house next to the pub (Devonshire Arms) but the ground floor was an extension to the pub, and all the bedrooms were above the pub. Fiona was a good host, left some milk and small cakes for us on arrival - which the kids thought was great! The place needs a bit of TLC in some places, amenities were all good, beds were comfy and clean. Generally, it provided a great weekend for the family to get together - we had a meal together in the pub on the Friday night, which was good too."
"I stayed for one night here, and i wasn't disappointed . Very friendly staff, easy check in, accommodation was perfect with everything you need from tea & coffee making facilities to shower gel etc . Very comfortable bed with crisp white bedding. I suffer with a bad bad , and I found the bed really comfortable .
I had an evening meal at the lamb inn . I chose the lamb Henry which was slow cooked lamb presented on a bed of mashed potato and a mint gravy and seasonal vegetables, followed by rhubarb crumble & custard. Absolutely amazing food that i highly recommend to anyone . The breakfast was a cooked breakfast which you chose the night before, also there was a choice of cereal yoghurt and fresh fruit.
Overall, a lovely stay, I would highly recommend anyone to visit, I will definitely be going back.
Thank you for a lovely stay."
"Good points
Shower , toilet , barbeque all very good , Hot tub BRILLIANT when in it .
Tent ample room to move around and side windows let in enough light during daytime .
Cooler box was very good kept the ice frozen all the time we were there and not electric (Yeti) thats the make of it .
Amazing views from the site and peaceful .
Bad points
Steps for the hot tub not stable need attatching to the side .
No direction signs to the place and no phone or internet signal so no sat nav and not able to phone for directions (also no easily available phone number to ring anyway)
Outdoor lights not working cause the timer was broken .
Indoor lights several bulbs blown and quite a few missing .
No shop at site you have to phone if you need anything... sorry, you can't, there is no signal .
Other than that we both had a great time ."
"Lovely cottage, ideal location, unfortunately we couldn’t use the pool as it was too cold but we were just out of season, would definitely return, the beds were amazing, so comfy, lovely place with all you need "
